Club Policies

On behalf of Wellingborough Taekwon-Do Club I would like to welcome your child to the club if they are new members, and provide you with some information about our activities. The club provides opportunities for young people between the ages of 4 and 12 to receive coaching and competition in Taekwon-Do competitions. All coaching is by qualified coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people.

If your child is an existing member then the following information will be of interest to you as well as parents/carers of any new members. The club is presently applying for Sport England’s Clubmark, which is awarded to clubs by GTUK’s criteria as to playing programme; safeguarding and protecting children; sports equity and ethics and club management. Clubmark is an acknowledgement that we take these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming environment for young participants in the sport. Our club welfare officer, Steve King is responsible for ensuring that our child protection policy is implemented and can be contacted on 07715318030 should you have any concerns.

As an open sports club we welcome our members and parents/carers of our junior members viewing our policy documents, which you will find in this section of our website.
